The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends standard consultation fees for psychologists. The current recommended fee is $330 for a 45 -60 minute consultation. Our fees are below this guideline. Please contact us to obtain a copy of our fee schedule.

Please note that letters and other requested paperwork completed outside appointment may attract an additional fee based on time spent completing these. Phone consultation occurring outside appointments may also incur an additional fee. Your clinician will inform you about any additional fees. If you have any questions or queries, please get in touch with you admin team.

The fee is payable at the end of session via Visa, MasterCard, EFTPOS or cash.

No referral is required unless you wish to claim on Medicare.

Medicare

Treatment by a Clinical Psychologist is now subsidised through Medicare’s Better Access Scheme. You may be eligible to receive a rebate of $145.25 per session for 10 sessions in a calendar year through this scheme.

If you would like to access this rebate you will need to see your GP, who may provide you with a Mental Health Care Plan (item 2710). Be aware that you might need to book an appointment with your medical provider in advance, as you are likely to need a slightly longer appointment.

Private Health Fund

Most private health funds offer rebates for psychological therapy, though they differ from fund to fund. If you are unsure whether you are covered it’s best to check with your health fund.

Please note that it is not possible to claim both rebates for Medicare and your health fund. You will need to choose which rebate you would like to claim.

Bulk Billing

We do offer some bulk billing appointments, however spaces for these are limited. Please contact our admin team for further information.

Appointments and Cancellations

If you would like to make an appointment or require further information please call 02 8021 6788. If you have to leave a short message with a name and contact number our friendly staff will contact you within 24 hours.

So that cancellations can be offered to other clients we request that you provide sufficient notice. A cancellation fee of 100% will be charged if less than 24 hours notice is provided and a 50% of the fee will be charged if less than 48 hours notice is provided prior to your appointment. Cancellations must be made via phone.
