Nick is a dedicated, warm and friendly Clinical Psychologist who enjoys working collaboratively with people of all backgrounds. He derives great reward in helping people and their families attain their goals, as well as achieve a newfound quality and empowerment in their everyday life.
Nick is trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies that include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy and Positive Coaching.
Nick has worked with a variety of different client groups in a range of clinical settings (both public and private) that include Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service at Royal North Shore Hospital, working with both families and young adults as well as assisting running anxiety groups for children and their parents as part of his training. He has also worked in the field of brain injury at Royal Rehabilitation Centre where he helped design neuro-psychosocial rehabilitation programs. He has conducted research at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre and has experience teaching Psychology at the University of Sydney. His most recent position at the Happiness Institute promoted the principles of positive psychology in his therapeutic approach.
Nick completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney, where he achieved first class honours in a Bachelor of Psychology. He completed his Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of New South Wales.
At present Nick splits his time between community mental health and private practice.
He is available in our Dee Why office on Mondays, Thursday; and our North Sydney office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays.
Currently Nick is able to see new clients within 2 weeks.

Laura is an experienced and highly empathic clinical psychologist who brings a warm, open and curious approach to her client’s concerns. She is passionate about providing a non-judgmental, collaborative, evidence-based approach and strives to establish a strong therapeutic relationship built on compassion, respect, warmth and trust. She works alongside her clients to give them space to explore their concerns, while supporting them to achieve their personal therapeutic goals. Laura provides both short- and long-term therapy and believes that therapy needs to be flexible to best meet each client’s unique needs.
Laura has worked across community mental health, hospital, forensic, and private practice settings, providing assessment and evidence-based treatment to individuals across the lifespan. She has extensive experience working with a broad range of presentations, including anxiety and mood disorders, emotional dysregulation, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, attachment-related concerns, complex trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Laura has a particular expertise in working with complex presentations and has held senior clinical roles within community and specialist mental health services, including early intervention for psychosis, forensic mental health, and homelessness services. Her clinical approach is grounded in a deep understanding of how developmental experiences, attachment patterns, and core emotional needs shape wellbeing, relationships, and behaviour across the lifespan.
Alongside her clinical practice, Laura is completing a PhD examining police decision-making in the context of use-of-force encounters. Her research explores the psychological processes that influence officer decision-making under conditions of stress and uncertainty, with a particular interest in schema modes, emotional responses, and the factors that contribute to decision-making outcomes.
Laura adopts an integrative therapeutic approach, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and presenting concerns. Her primary modality is Schema Therapy, and she is currently completing her International Certification in Schema Therapy. She also draws on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), integrating these approaches where appropriate to support meaningful and lasting change.
Laura is the Lead Clinical Psychologist for a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) program within NSLHD, a Board-Approved Supervisor with AHPRA, an Adjunct Fellow at Macquarie University, and a registered Expert Reviewer for the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC). She holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Wollongong and a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Vicky is a compassionate and person-centred psychologist who is passionate about working with both adults and young people to overcome their challenges and build their coping strategies. She has experience working across the lifespan in a variety of settings including schools, Headspace and private practice.
Vicky aims to create a therapeutic space that is warm, non-judgemental and strengths-based to make individuals feel safe and heard. Vicky understands the importance of working as a team when supporting both young people and adults. She works collaboratively with all stakeholders in clients’ lives to support building strength and resources in all aspects of their lives. Vicky has worked with individuals presenting with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, Autism Spectrum Disorder, interpersonal difficulties, adjustment difficulties, trauma, low self-esteem and self-harm. She has a special interest in supporting individuals presenting with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and trauma backgrounds.
Vicky works from a strength-based approach to encourage her clients to become more motivated and empowered in their lives as well as skilled in achieving their goals. Vicky works using a person-centred approach, this incorporates a range of evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy to help individuals feel understood, gain insight into their concerns and reach their goals.
